Alan Dimmick // New photographs
We are loving these new photographs from Alan Dimmick as part of an ongoing commission related to the Glasgow Museums’ collection.This year former GoMA curators Ben Harman (now Director of Stills Gallery), Sean McGlashan (recently retired as curator of the Burns Museum) have been photographed as well as Francis McKee (Director of CCA, Glasgow) and collection artists Sarah Forrest & Scott Myles. They will be joining over 20 portraits of other Glasgow Museum’s collection artists in this growing archive.
Alan recently published Alan Dimmick : Photographs 1977 – 2017 with Stills Gallery and if you missed the launch at Timorous Beasties on Wednesday you can head over to Edinburgh and catch the event there at Stills Gallery Book Launch 3rd May 6-8pm.
