Some key programmes include:
Saturday Art Club – images from flickr
Set up in September 2003, Saturday Art Club is a drop in session facilitated by the Learning Assistants and for families with children aged 3- 12. It generally takes place in The Studio but has been known to venture into the galleries themselves. It’s on every Saturday from 10.30 am -12.30 pm.
GoMA Bites – images from flickr
GoMA Bites was set up in 2008 to provide taster sessions for adults in the gallery. Developed over the last few years they are now describes as ‘Adult bite sized workshops. From drawing to sculpture, print making to photography, explore your creative side in these diverse workshops that are inspired by our current exhibitions’
Holiday programmes – images on facebook
Holiday programmes run during the school holidays and provide drop-in and bookable workshops for children and their families. On offer are a range of workshops that suit all types of interests and provide the opportunity for parents to fill some of the long days off school with interesting creative adventures.
Thursday Exchange – images on flickr
The Thursday Exchange was set up in 2010 on the third Thursday of the month. The idea being that it took its inspiration from the history of the building to be an exchange of ideas, opportunities to meet the GoMA team and artists and a social event on the calendar.
