This exhibition is related to PLOUGH and it was curated by Rachel Mimiec as part of her Associate Artist work with Red Road Family Centre Nursery.There are two works in the exhibition which opens today to the public, (but officially tomorrow morning with the children!). The Gallery of Modern Art has been working with the International Play Association (IPA) Scotland around article 31 (the right to play, arts, culture, leisure and rest) of the Convention on the Rights of the Child since 2009. This included work on Blueprint for a Bogey (2010) and Playable Spaces (2010 -). Recently it has centered around the work to get a General Comment on article 31 adopted by the United Nations Committee on the rights of the child.
