Ripples on the Pond, Gallery 4

Ripples on the Pond, opening 1 May is an exhibition of works from Glasgow Museums’ collection. It includes recent acquisitions from Glasgow Women’s Library’s 21 Revolutions series, relating them to other works in the collection and sparking questions about gender, themes and media choice in relation to women’s practice and visibility.

Artist-run Glasgow – News – News & Opinion – Art in America

Illuminated Letters is a partnership project between Gallery of Modern Art Glasgow and Glasgow Women’s Library inspired by GoMA’s exhibition of the works of Niki de Saint Phalle. This project takes as its starting point the recently donated ‘illuminated letters’ of Niki de Saint Phalle in the collection of GoMA. We invited GWL to build a learning programme, with staff at GoMA, linked to the exhibition and the letters in particular and Illuminated Letters grew out of those conversations.
