Through this collaboration, they hope to help us develop the Gallery as a space where young people feel represented.

We are now accepting applications for the new cohort of the GoMA Youth Group 2021-2022

GYG’s Creative Responses to GoMA’s collection

We’ve been pretty busy over at the GoMA Youth Group. We had our first workshop on Sunday the 28th March exploring Hal Fischer’s ‘Gay Semiotics’ through zine-making. We’ve also been reflecting on some important recent events – LGBTQ+ History Month and International Women’s Month. These events give us all some time and space to think about our role either within these communities or as allies. The GoMA is celebrating its 25th anniversary and has been reflecting on its history of LGBTQ+ programming since the museum opened in 1996.
