109-Table of Elements: An Audio Visual Exploration

109 – Table of Elements is an installation using a range of media, from 2- and 3D digitally generated imagery, web work, animation to video and soundscapes, with the aim of creating an artistic representation of the Periodic Table.

This exhibition is the result of an imaginative collaboration between scientists and visual artists. It is a contemporary and vibrant exploration of the startling diversity of the materials that constitute the world we live in. The number 109 in the title of the exhibition denotes the number of known and officially named elements that comprise the Periodic Table.
