Date: 4 September – 24 November 1996
Space: Temporary Exhibition (now Gallery 3)
Part of Glasgow 1996 International Festival of Design. Exhibition of works by John Pawson, James Dyson and Ron Arad.
The exhibitions presented the works of these challenging designers at GoMA, where every designer had his own room. John Pawson (1949), architect of Calvin Klein’s flagship store in New York; James Dyson (1947) who demonstrated how, in 1978, he designed his cyclonic vacuum cleaner; Ron Arad (1951) who focused on the investigation between art and design with a series of one-off items.
