Date: 29 May 2014 –2 November 2014
Space: Gallery 3

In this exhibition, Moyna Flannigan drew on the story of Adam and Eve to reflect an underlying conflict between individualism and conformity.

Moyna Flannigan painted images of fictional characters, focusing on the effects of power on personal, cultural and political identity. Often dark and ironic, her work is created from a multitude of sources, which are passed through the filter of her memory and vivid imagination. Her show at GoMA revolved around the figure of Eve as an original model of Woman.
