COMMONSpace, 5th July – 31st August 2025

“How Are We?” is an exhibition curated by the GOMA Youth Group 2024/25. The group wanted to explore the connection between community, Glasgow, and each other, whilst celebrating the time spent together over the last year.

The artworks on display were either made collaboratively with members of the public (during workshops facilitated by the group) or created by individual group members.

The title “How Are We?” is a prompt for visitors to take time to think about how they are feeling, and to encourage connections with each other in the space.

The GOMA Youth Group is a collective of artists and creatives aged 18-26 from Glasgow and surrounding areas. We met weekly from October 2024 until June 2025 to create, discuss and share ideas, culminating in a series of public workshops and this exhibition. We have connected through our love of art, and we are excited to share the work we have made as a community.
