The exhibition featured new acquisitions including work by David Shrigley, Roderick Buchanan and Beagles & Ramsay, and older works from Glasgow Museums’ collection that were on display in GoMA for the first time, including pieces by George Wylie, John Byrne and Art Spiegelman.
Hertie Querty, a phrase taken from the old Scottish language, denoting people who are fond of fun and mischief, is a ‘playful, mischievous and occasionally absurd exhibition, comprising of fifty amusing displays.
