Exhibition of Louise Shambrook’s photographs, videos and installations exploring issues of identity, sexual orientation and discrimination and Ian Passmore’s photographic and textual work investigating the meeting of memories with present realities.

In this exhibition, visitors have the chance to see Shambrook’s Swimming Hats, an investigation into perceptions of gender and the different distinctions that can be drawn between masculine and feminine characteristics, and Hands, a new in depth photographic study, made for Glasgay!, questioning scientific reports that finger length is linked to sexual orientation. In addition to that, Passmore’s Five Crossroads to a Gay Space and Just Passing were produced for Glasgay!, as part of projects exploring the relationship between gay lives, space and time.
