Rule of Thumb artist in residence – Kevin Reid

Rule of Thumb artist in residence – Kevin Reid
Dates: 18 July – 26 September 2005
Space: GoMA Entrance Ellipse and Balcony 1
GoMA’s first artist in residence where artist Kevin Reid was selected to work alongside Glasgow Women’s Library . One participant said: “The artist could really connect with people…He took time to get to know people and what they wanted from the project. He was a very good role model for men. He changed my opinion a bit and got me thinking that maybe there are good men out there. He was the first connection that I have had with a man that is not a blood relative.”
The exhibition at GoMA was the documentation of and response to his residency where various events were held throughout June & July in GoMA and other locations.
