Unmasked

Unmasked
Dates: 15 – 23 March 2014
Space: Balcony 2

Unmasked challenges the demand for prostitution in Glasgow which focuses on the choices women make to enter into prostitution.

The exhibition aims to raise awareness of the attitudes of the unseen men who buy sex from prostitutes. There were two key works in this exhibition, ‘Memoirs’ and ‘Invisible Men’ (restricted to over 18), set within a commissioned piece by Glasgow Violence Against women Partnership (GVAWP) displaying facts, statistics and accounts of actual experiences, demonstrating the ways in which demand for prostitution harms and limits the choices of women.
