Up, Down and Around

Exhibition of recent works produced in the context of a collaborative project that documents the dialogue between the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland and the Bergen Academy of Art and Design, Norway.

The intention of this collaboration is to demonstrate – both to the viewer and to the artists themselves – that a significant shift occurs between the life of individual studio practice and the curating of the work within a public collective space.This process encapsulates the possibilities and challenges of two groups, previously unknown to each other and each other’s work, coming together to create an encounter with the viewer.
